Status: Quoted after photos — not a walk-in infinite-stock shelf. We quote after compatibility photos. Local support from WSAR Outdoor / RECON RESCUE INC. in Katy for Houston-area owners. Works for many existing boat trailers as well as new WSAR units.
This 14ft galvanized batch: The 14ft galvanized trailer label lists 165R13C tires at 36 psi (250 kPa) cold.
Why ST tires matter in Texas
Passenger car tires are built for a different job. Trailer ST tires and correct cold pressures handle heat and load better on Houston highways — when sized correctly.
What we need to quote
- Sidewall size and load range
- Photos of tire and fender clearance
- How you load the boat (weight honesty)
Can I put passenger tires on my boat trailer?
We recommend against it for highway trailer duty. Ask us for ST options by quote matched to your trailer.
Do you keep every size on a shelf?
No. Tires are quoted after photos after size confirmation — honest timing in writing.
Compatibility with your boat trailer
Send clear photos of the current part, any size stamps, and the trailer tongue/axle area. If it will not fit safely, we say so — same honesty as trailer fit review. New WSAR galvanized ($1,499 path) or stainless ($2,990, launching December 2026) trailers use the same accessories conversation.
Common concerns
- Price? Quoted after photos — accessories are quoted, not a fixed website cart price.
- How long? Written estimate after compatibility check. Katy pickup often beats freight.
- Local? Yes — RECON RESCUE INC. / WSAR Outdoor, Katy.
- Can I see it? Ask when scheduling pickup / handoff.
